Personal Care
Personal care consists of a broad spectrum of assistance designed to enable individuals to accomplish tasks that they would normally do for themselves if the individual did not have a disability. Family Caregiver Services: We recognize that every individual has different abilities, needs and wishes in their day-to-day care. There is family caregiver program, which enables individuals to live with a family member while receiving day-to-day services and support from that family member.


Providing consumers the opportunity to learn basic household tasks such as cleaning, doing laundry, and some basic maintenance. Homemakers cue or prompt individuals through the skills they need to apply while independently caring for a household.


Respite services are provided to participants that are furnished on a short-term basis because of the absence or need for relief of those
persons who normally provide care for the participant.


Assisting with understanding complicated health and safety information, Completing and reviewing safety assessments.
Accompanying consumers to medical appointments to aid in communication with providers, understanding medical information, and assist the individual with follow-up.
Meet with individuals one on one to instruct, model, advise, or provide experiences to assist with full participation in their communities.
Assist individuals with interviewing potential providers, and with participation on private or public boards, advisory groups and commissions.
Mentors can assist individuals with finding resources in their families or in the community.

Individual Residential Services and Supports (IRSS)
in which three (3) or fewer participants receiving services may live in a single residential setting or in a host home setting.
